About

Called "a bracing walk on the wild side of the big band spectrum" (JazzTimes), the legendary Aardvark Jazz Orchestra (41st season) will perform Bluesology (the blues as social and political commentary) November 2, at MIT's Killian Hall. The band will perform originals by Aardvark founder/music director Mark Harvey, including De-Evolution Blues,Looking Glass Blues, and the world premiere of Tritonista, the latest in a series of pieces by Harvey based on the tritone, a main ingredient of modern jazz.
