Meridian 71 is an eclectic and international ensemble of Boston-based musicians, led by drummer and composer G. Paradiso. The ensemble has been active since 2012, releasing that same year the first album "Otherness Collection", featuring all original compositions. Meridian 71 is currently working on the recording of a new album and publishing 3 official videos this coming Fall '18. The original music performed is characterized by a very distinctive and unique voice, as a result of an extensive research into various traditions and cultures, with influences that range from jazz and improvised American music to Mediterranean, African and Middle Eastern traditions....
