With his rich catalog as accompanist and leader, Joey Calderazzo is indisputably one of the finest pianists in jazz. Currently, Calderazzo is best known as the long-time pianist in the Branford Marsalis Quartet. He also was pianist of choice for the late master saxophonist, Michael Brecker's quartet. When he isn't touring as an integral part of the Branford Marsalis Quartet, Joey Calderazzo leads his own trio - Orlando Le Fleming on bass and Donald Edwards on drums. His latest CD, Joey Calderazzo Trio Live (Sunnyside Records), features this working trio.
