Their eclectic concert will reflect Funkhouser’s recent studies of North Indian classical music, employing the deep serenity, pathos and light of ragas he has been studying in recent months, as well as the band’s enthusiasm for New Orleans street music, 70’s Funk and Prog Rock, the Great American Songbook, South African jazz, Chopin, and folk music from all over the world.
