Soul Custody, a sextet formed in December of 2008, performs creative and original music that blends jazz, funk, Latin, blues and world beat influences. Passion and energy infuse their music, which features original compositions and new arrangements of music from other favorite composers.

The band’s instrumentation includes trumpet/flugelhorn, sax, bass, piano, drums, and guitar.

In August of 2011, Soul Custody released its first CD of original music entitled “Meridian Point” to wide acclaim. This music was featured via live broadcast on central Massachusetts’ premier jazz radio station, WICN 90.5 FM, in the spring of 2012....

In the fall of 2013, Soul Custody again returned to the studio to complete work on its second CD, entitled “Night Time”. This new CD was released in the spring of 2014 and was also featured on WICN 90.5 FM during Chet Williamson’s “Jazz Matinee”.
